Hello to everyone and a Happy New Year and hopefully it will be a great one for all of our woodworking projects.
We were unfortunate to miss out on the last grants program from the A.M.S.A. but we do have another chance this month with the latest round opening on the 15th of January. We have a large project for this year in a new and complete dust extraction system to all machines in the workshop that have dust ports on them.
Towards the later part of last year, Cheryl Seymour organized a fund raising raffle with all the prizes donated, we were off on a winner to start with, but the biggest let down was the number of members who DIDN’T come in and pick up a book of tickets to sell to family and friends, to those members who did take 1 or 2 books and sold them thankyou as this fund raiser was to help with some extra cash to help with the cost of the new dust extraction system.
This year we are planning some new and hopefully interesting activities and events for all of you, our members, to take part in. Keep watching for the information in the newsletter
