November 2022 President’s Report

Posted on December 1, 2022

This last month as gone by very quickly but there has been a lot of progress in the revamp of the workshop, if you haven’t visited for a while, you maybe need to make the time to come and see the new lay out, you will be impressed.

Over the last few days, we have been concerned about the flood waters affecting the Cottage. Many thanks to Bevan and Cheryl Seymour for liaising with the SES, Police and the Council over the need to, when and how, sandbag the Cottage and surrounding area. We have been fortunate that the last few days it has been fine with no rain or heavy rain.

I hope that all of you, our club members have put your name down for the Christmas Party at the German/Austrian Club on Tuesday 13 December as this is a great way to meet the new members and a chance to socialize without any restrictions and above all to have a good time.

Martin Lawley.
