We are well on the way to the end of the year and with that we are talking Christmas. With that thought in mind we have our Christmas Club Dinner to consider, with this event in mind we would like to have as many of you as possible to attend, date and venue to be advised.
We have a couple of club projects under way with a large one that we will be calling on members with scroll sawing skills. Lex will be putting out a call for members to help with making cut outs of chickens in MDF for the Show Society.
The compliments we have been receiving on how clean and the layout of the workshop has been very good so much, so several other woodworking clubs are interested in upgrading their extraction system.
We have received information on the Northeast Woodworking Forum which will be held on the 24th May next year at Wangaratta. I would like to see a good turn out from the Albury Wodonga Woodcrafters to attend this event as we need to keep this forum going as a means of the exchange of information and ideas, so keep this date free.
Don’t forget our AGM is the 8th October, there are nominations forms at the club rooms if you are interested in joining the committee, all positions are declared vacant and anyone can nominate for a position.
